What is the Loyalty Scheme?

The Smith’s Loyalty Scheme is a reward scheme where customers can earn points on transactions at Smith’s Garden Centre and Granny Smith’s Cafe. These points can then be redeemed against qualifying transactions at both Smith’s Garden Centre and Granny Smith’s Cafe.  

Loyalty Card holders also receive exclusive discounts via email at the beginning of each month. 

How to Join

You can use your most recent receipt to join our loyalty scheme. 

  1. Using your smartphone or tablet, scan the unique QR code found at the bottom of your receipt. This will take you to your unique sign up page.
    Alternatively you can use the link written above the QR code.
  2. Fill out your online sign up form and submit your details.
    By submitting your details you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of our loyalty scheme, please see our terms and conditions below. 
  3. When you visit us next, collect your loyalty card at the Garden Centre tills. Please inform us that you’ve set up your account online and that you wish to collect your new loyalty card. 

You’re all set! Now all you have to do is show your card at the checkout before paying to earn points.

If you can’t find your most recent receipt, please visit us in store, and we will be happy to help you. 


Can I use my card in Granny Smith’s Cafe too?

Yes, you can use your loyalty card to earn and spend points in the cafe too. 

Will I earn points on all of my transactions?

You will earn points on most items, but there are exclusions. You will not be able to earn points on multibuys, already discounted items, items in a promotion or sale, or items that you’re already purchasing with another discount scheme (horticultural society/allotment society). 

How do I know how many points I have to use? 

You can check your loyalty card balance at the Garden Centre tills. Our cashiers will be happy to help. 

Can I get points on my old receipts?

No, unfortunately we are unable to backdate points on previous transactions. Please make sure you present your card at the tills to receive your points. 

Terms and Conditions


‘Smith’s Nurseries (Baginton) Ltd’ is the business offering the Loyalty Card scheme.

‘Customer’ is the person named on the loyalty scheme data.

‘Loyalty Card’ is the membership card issued by Smith’s Garden Centre.


All information contained herein forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

The completion and return of the membership form (either on paper or on-line) indicates an intention to be legally bound and acceptance of these conditions. All card holders must be over the age of 18 when the card is issued. This card will not be accepted as a valid form of ID. Acceptance and confirmation of your application indicates Smith’s Garden Centre intends to be legally bound by this document. Loyalty Cards are issued free to approved applicants. The Loyalty Card remains the property of Smith’s Nurseries (Baginton) Ltd. Smith’s Nurseries (Baginton) Ltd reserves the right to postpone or cancel a Loyalty Card or the Loyalty Card scheme and is under no obligation to give reasons for doing so. The representative of Smith’s Nurseries (Baginton) Ltd reserves the right to refuse any Loyalty Card application, and is under no obligation to give reasons for the refusal.

The customer may cancel their Loyalty Card at any time by returning their Customer Loyalty Card to Smith’s Garden Centre. Removal from our mailing list can be requested at any time by emailing info@smiths-gardencentre.co.uk or visiting the Garden Centre in person.

As a Loyalty Card member you will be entitled to the following benefits:

a) £1 worth of loyalty points are given for every £50 spent, paid pro rata.

b) Preferential rates for some special offers will be exclusive to loyalty customers from time to time.

c) Vouchers and notification of some exclusive special offers and bonus point opportunities

Smith’s Nurseries (Baginton) Ltd reserve the right to change the loyalty value without notice. Points earned during a visit will not be available until the next transaction. Purchase of NGGV gift vouchers are exempt from loyalty points. You may not use loyalty points accumulated against the purchase of vouchers. Certain promotional stock and all multi-buy stock (already discounted) will not earn loyalty points.

If your card becomes lost or stolen

In the event of a lost or stolen card please advise Smiths Garden Centre.

If your loyalty card becomes lost, stolen or damaged, you should contact us immediately call 02476 303382 during business hours. Your loyalty card balance is only protected from the point in time you notify us that your card is missing. We will freeze the remaining balance on your loyalty card at the time you notify us and will load that remaining balance on a replacement loyalty card.

The management reserve the right to amend or change the above conditions without notification, and upon issue of a new set of terms and conditions, it will be deemed as acceptance of these new conditions by the customer.

The Card must be scanned at the point of purchase to earn the points, and Points will not be awarded retrospectively where the Cardholder fails to present the Card for any transaction.

Some promotional offers may not be able to be used in conjunction with the Standard Points issue rates.

You cannot earn points in conjunction with other offers such as multibuys, discounted items, sale items, or items you’re already purchasing as part of a horticultural or allotment discount scheme. 

Cardholders are not sent statements of itemised transactions. You can check the balance of your loyalty card or review recent transactions by visiting Smith’s Garden Centre.  You will need to have your loyalty card available in order to access your account.
